About Anuka Tavartkiladze

Anuka Tavartkiladze is an independent product designer. She is born in Tbilisi, Georgia, graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts with a master degree and with a master degree in interior design in “Florence institute of design international”. Since 2010 she has been working in architecture company Mosulishvili & Partners as an architect and interior designer.

In 2013 she created her first product titled “Easel Mirror”. She is challenging herself with creation objects that reflects functional, social, environmental and aesthetic considerations. Her architectural skills materialize in her design with strict lines and forms.

The simplicity of forms and the elegance of the furniture is what distinguishes Anuka Tavartkiladze’s products from other Georgian product designers. Working and combining materials like wood, glass, concrete and iron, is what makes her products fascinating and challenging as well. Experimenting with forms goes to the limits of functionality to rediscover the synthesis of esthetics and efficiency.
