About Saini
Founded in 2015 by Georgian artists and designers Nino Slepchenko and Levan Vateishvili, Saini Studio reimagines the ancient Georgian script as a source of modern design inspiration. Drawing on geometry, mathematics, and an artistic approach to each letter, the studio has developed around 2,000 unique ornaments—used exclusively on Saini’s products. The name “Saini,” meaning “plate” in Georgian, pays tribute to the studio’s beginnings in high-end dinnerware design. Since winning the Creative Business Cup Georgia in 2018 and representing the country in Copenhagen, Saini has expanded into lighting, jewelry, home décor, and custom-made pieces, all crafted from natural, eco-friendly materials.

Artistic Style and Product Range
Saini’s designs blend intricate geometry and fluid rotation techniques to form mesmerizing, kaleidoscopic motifs. As seen in the studio’s plates, wooden boards with ceramic inlays, and vibrant silk scarves, each pattern balances precision with artistry, creating a dynamic visual effect. The color palettes range from soft neutrals to bold, saturated hues, always reflecting the designers’ commitment to innovation and cultural heritage. Whether featured on dinnerware, lighting fixtures, or textiles, Saini’s ornaments offer the option of personalizing products by selecting meaningful letters—an invitation to imbue each piece with a secret message. This fusion of tradition and modern design highlights the living culture of the Georgian alphabet while showcasing Saini’s passion for distinctive, handcrafted craftsmanship.
