About Maka

Maka Jishkariani, born in Tbilisi in 1971, is a versatile artist and designer with a rich background in painting, advertising, and graphic design. A graduate of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, specializing in oil painting restoration, she has worked as a designer and art director for McCann Tbilisi and taught Computer Graphics at the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs.

Her artistic practice spans multiple media, including painting, wood, ceramics, and leather, all rooted in her passion for drawing. Maka has held two solo exhibitions, participated in numerous group shows, and continues to push creative boundaries with her diverse and experimental work.
